Italian Lakes Guide
The Italian Lakes region pairs dramatic mountain landscapes with idyllic lakeside retreats, making it a must-see for travelers who appreciate scenic beauty but don't want to sacrifice luxury and fine dining. Not only can you relax beside mineral-blue glacial lakes, but you can discover historic villas and wander through charming villages.

Rome Guide
Rome is a city whose past and present are mingled on every corner. Iconic landmarks and captivating museums transport travelers back centuries, while bustling street markets and piazzas offer a lively taste of today’s culture. Italy’s capital appeals to all types of travelers, from families to couples, and its food scene is not to be missed.

Florence Guide
Florence is an elegant city where history and culture are present everywhere. Set along the scenic banks of the Arno River, the city is celebrated as the birthplace of the Renaissance, a pivotal era that reshaped science and philosophy, as well as produced some of the world’s greatest artists. The Uffizi Gallery displays an incredible collection of Renaissance art, including works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Botticelli.

Southern Italy Hotels
Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terre are the sort of Italian cities to earn top billing on most travelers’ bucket lists. Unlike its Northern Italy neighbor, the Amalfi Coast stretches down the shoreline of Southern Italy and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its incomparable natural beauty. Because this region is larger, visitors can discover a bevy of old towns, charming Italian villages, archaeological sites (like the Herculaneum), and locally owned cafés to add to their travel guides.

Michelin Key Hotels
Michelin first unveiled the Michelin Key — the hotel equivalent of the Michelin Star — earlier this year, solely for French properties. Italy’s honorees came soon thereafter.
Michelin bestows the Key honor based on a hotel’s architecture and design, service, personality, value and “significant contribution to the guest experience in a particular setting.”

Sicily Guide
Sicily is perennially popular for a reason. Idyllic beaches and rugged volcanic landscapes dot the Mediterranean island. It’s home to ancient temples and Mount Etna, charming seaside villages and wineries. Explore its varied architecture enriched by multiple cultures over the years. Sample fresh seafood and nutritiously dense local produce, grown in the island’s mineral-rich volcanic soil. You can lounge by the beach, hike up a volcano, see ancient ruins — options abound.

Sardinia & Corsica Guide
Sardinia and Corsica are beautiful, laid-back Mediterranean neighbors. Sardinia is a little larger than Vermont; Corsica’s about twice the size of Rhode Island. Both destinations are an excellent way to round out a trip to France and Italy. Although, because of their proximity and resulting similarity, you likely won’t want to visit both in one trip. The main difference is that one is Italian (Sardinia), and the other is French (Corsica).

London Hotels Under $500
London tops every travel bucket list — a city of contrasts where old-world glamour meets cutting-edge innovation. Glide through history on the world’s oldest subway, the London Underground, beneath medieval landmarks like the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Then, emerge to admire the shimmering glass silhouettes of The Shard, Walkie Talkie and Gherkin shaping the modern skyline.

FAQ: UK ETA
Starting January 8, 2025, all travelers from North America, Israel, Singapore, the Caribbean, Oceania and select countries in Africa, Central and South America will need an electronic travel authorization (ETA) to enter the United Kingdom. In March, travelers from select European countries and any associated territories will be able to apply for an ETA. These ETAs are meant to ensure stronger security checks prior to departure, and are linked to your passport. Here’s what you need to know to ensure safe and seamless UK travels.

Greece

Mykonos Hotels
Next to Santorini, Mykonos is one of the most famous islands for travelers to visit in Greece. As a part of the Cycladic chain of islands that stretches out into the Aegean Sea, Mykonos is known for being the more wild and party-centric cousin to Santorini. From its bumping beachfront clubs to its stylish luxury hotels, Mykonos is known for its paradisiacal white-sand beaches (something rocky Santorini lacks).

Athens Hotels
As the capital of Greece, Athens is a stunning city brimming with history, art, neoclassical architecture and fine cuisine. From the Acropolis (one of Athens’ most complete Greek ruins) and the Acropolis Museum to the Parthenon and the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Athens blends history, mythology and modernity, all unfolding in the shadow of Mount Lycabettus.

Santorini Hotels
Ah, Santorini. The name immediately brings up images of azure waters, blindingly white buildings, ancient cliffsides and blissed-out getaways. This Greek island, floating in the Aegean Sea, is arguably one of the most beautiful destinations in Greece, and for good reason. Famous for its dazzling sunset views and black-sand volcanic beaches (not to mention its volcanic-rich soil that gives way to stellar wines and Mediterranean fare), Santorini sits on most bucket lists. It’s also an island brimming with luxury hotels.
